Notes: The course includes physical and emotional aspects of lactation, positioning, breastfeeding techniques, troubleshooting (adequate milk supply, latching on, etc). The concept of supply and demand are presented. Measures to relieve common discomforts are discussed, and community resource links are provided. Videos, slides, and breast feeding model and pump presentations are given.
